Duas mini-lojas no México.

:(
Sorry i dont speak portuguese.
I just wanna tell you something. These mexican Apple Shop are official. Brazilian “shops” arent. Brazil still doesnt have Apple interest.
If the Extra´s Apple Shops were really an Apple SHop, they would appear in http://apple.com/br/buy/shop but NO the page doesnt exist. but mexico has its own like the rest of France, Germany, Spain, etc
http://apple.com/mx/buy/shop
http://apple.com/fr/buy/shop
http://apple.com/es/buy/shop
http://apple.com/de/buy/shop
BRAZIL DOESNT HAVE OFFICIAL APPLE RETAIL COVERAGE, NEITHER VIRTUAL.
Mexico has an APPLE ONLINE STORE (http://apple.com/mexicostore), but Brazil doesnt.
AND BY THE WAY. in those “apple shop” you pretend to have the prices ara FUCKING HIGH!! I CANT BELIVE YOU HAVE THOSE PRICES.. Mexican prices are practically the same as the American ones, but Brazil!!!!! OMG
YOU GOTTA BE KIDDIN!!!!!!
In your supposed “Apple Shops” frome Extra, the iMac (Intel Core 2 duo 2.0ghz, 20 inch) cost 4,999 R!!!!! That are 2846 dollars!!! OMFG
DO you think that is having Apple interest? i dont think so, why dont you peple just buy a pc. Mac market is lost in you country. Unless you are stupid enough to pay $2846 for an iMac.
Like i said, in Mexico the prices are the same. The 20-inch iMac cost 15,999 pesos, that is 1400 dollars. So Brazilian iMac cost excactly the double of the mexican one.
If you dont belive it you can se the prices in the MEXICAN ONLINE APPLE STORE

Alfredo,
The problem here isn’t Apple prices BUT Brazilian taxes. ;)
Yeah… and we don’t buy PCs because they don’t worth one cent. :) LOL
Oh Yeah Thiago, that too :D
welll, i see your point.. i just that i am not fully mentally prepared for paying 2846 for an iMac.
With that same money i can buy a Mac PRO with an 23-ichn Apple Cinema Display in my country.
GOOD LUCK :-)
And I prefer to go to US and buy there :D
I’m sorry but you’re wrong.
http://latam.apple.com/br/buy/
:D
We don’t have apple shops. We have apple store in store ;)
LOL apple store in store hahha
that are authorized resellers… FNAC, Sams Club, Extra.
In mexico is the same, we have authorized resellers such as SAMS club, Costco, Best Buy, etc
But we ALSO have apple shops and an apple online store.
I bet you that whatever they present in the macworld 08 it wont be available the same day in your authorized resellers . They will be available the same day in the countries the have apple shops and apple online store.

C’mon, you talk like you EVER had Apple Stores in Mexico!
Mexico Online Apple Store opened days ago and you’re talking like you’re in US!
The name of those apple ressellers in EXTRA supermarket is “Store in Store”!!
Another thing, the Brazilian Apple Office told that, after Mexico, Brasil will have it too. So, it’s only mather of time ;)

Take a look alfredo21
i know… after mexico..
i Think mexico and brazil are the leading countries in Latin America. Thats why those prices amaze me.
But i dont thine there will be an onlien store in brazil with those taxes problems.
Or maybe there will be, but whith the same high prices.
It would be great you had the same prices as us.
Luck :-)
Alfredo21,
We have no choice… (about the prices – taxes)
And Apple Brasil is doing its best to get from the local government some kind of negotiation about the taxes. The Mac mini is cheaper now than ever in Brasil. It is still a high price, but, it`s less than the normal price with all those taxes.
But, well… those taxes make Apple think twice before put some money here…
Brasil is a country that doesn`t know a thing about international business and technology. That make us very sad and with no better choices. Or we pay the price, or we try to buy real good products in other countries. (and try to not pay all the taxes if we can)
(PS: the taxes here are like this: 60% + 18% to import an iPod or a Computer from the US. (+ the tax from the US ~5 to 8%) Sad, uh? Very, very sad.
thiago:
yes its sad. Wish you luck and try to pressure the government :-)
We really are fortunate for having the North American Free Trade Agreement.
PS: Even though i can understand a single word i can tell its a very good blog the one you have here. Very similar to mundomac.org but in portuguese. LOL
PD2: I have been tring to send this comment like 5 times, but i cannot understand the numbers in letter for the math operation. LOL
LOL!!!
i have one tip for you.. if you use a translation website, you might find out the right numbers to solve the math operation…
talking about that, did you like the translation software of this BLOG? does it work fine?
and one last question: do you have a BLOG? are you from mundomac.org or something?
Thanks for your visit!
@alfredo21: have you ever heard about Google Translate? ;) That could help.
thiago: i used google translate for reading the post. By the way it is not ver accuratte but gives me the main idea.
No, i am not a writer i am just a fan of that site. But i know one writer there. It would be great you both met. LOL
