A Apple Brasil está com uma vaga de emprego aberta desde meados de março para um “Especialista em Logística”, posição de turno integral em São Paulo (SP).

A oportunidade exige que a pessoa tenha inglês fluente, passaporte para viagens internacionais e pelo menos 5-10 anos de experiência em logística/administração, preferencialmente nos segmentos de transporte e/ou controle de estoque.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for delivering, and improving upon, the highest level of customer service to Apple customers in Brazil, across the different routes to market.
• Manage the associated freight spend, creating and maintaining effective cost controls processes. To lead an accurate freight forecast program and to drive the appropriate cost savings plan for each financial year.
• Define carrier KPIs for strategic accounts and channels. To lead initiatives to correct any issues that affect our ability to execute and meet our KPIs/SLAs.
• Successfully deliver Apple initiatives, such as new product launches and to support growth into new sales regions by providing the optimum logistics infrastructure.
• Support local requirements from our internal and external customers in a timely and comprehensive manner. These include: Key Reseller Accounts, Sales, Channel Order Management, Applestore and Applecare.
• Manage all local aspects of the relationship with our Freight Carriers, working closely with the Procurement department to ensure that Apple’s needs are represented clearly in the market place, and that we achieve the best service for the best cost wherever possible.
• Manage and oversee a reduction of product loss and damage in freight cargo in the system and, subsequently, Apple’s financial exposure to this.
• Work with DC management and carriers to achieve the optimum cut off times for customers deliveries, and an optimum overall delivery process.
• Support the opening of new DCs and the launch of new products with the optimum channel freight solution in each case.
• Keep abreast of, and take practical advantage of, all new and emerging technology in the market place that may be of use to Apple freight operations.
• Engage with internal and external customers to both understand, interpret and deliver their highest expectations.
• Help create a robust and accurate method of channel freight reporting that covers all service and cost aspects of the function.
• Take responsibility for or take part in, various improvement initiatives and projects within the department, when they occur.
• Gain a full understanding of the direction of the wider Apple business model and make decisions and proposals that support that model.

Skill set requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
• Must have excellent political and negotiation skills.
• Must have a consistent sense-of-urgency and a strong determination to drive for results.
• Must be detail oriented with an excellent understanding of Brazilian transportation regulations and procedures.
• Must champion the customer experience.
• Must be an effective manager and be able to build and maintain a strong team environment.

Experience:

• Must have 5-10 years experience in the Logistics industry, preferably in the transportation and warehouse segments.
• Must have prior management experience.
• Must have strong reporting background with a solid understanding of analysis.
• College degree required.

International Travel Required; ability to gain Visa or current Visa holder a must.
