Apple abre serviço de notificações push para desenvolvedores do iPhone OS 3.0

Agora é pra valer: a Apple abriu no final desta tarde, como prometido desde a liberação da segunda versão beta do iPhone OS 3.0, o serviço de notificações push em plano de fundo do seu novo sistema operacional móvel.

A empresa pede que desenvolvedores que já estejam programando para o novo serviço realizem o máximo de testes possíveis com ele, relatando-lhe quaisquer bugs/problemas encontrados no meio do caminho.

Start testing your applications using the Apple Push Notification service today. Log in to the iPhone Dev Center and review the Apple Push Notification Programming Guide and Getting Started video.

Team Agents can log in to the iPhone Developer Program Portal and proceed to the App ID section to create the components necessary to enable and test applications using the Apple Push Notification service.

Make sure to join the Apple Developer Forums to connect with other developers using the Apple Push Notification service and use the Apple Bug Reporter if you discover compatibility or functionality issues while testing with the service.
